Hello my friends! How are you all doing?
I thought I would share the cards from August's Paper Pumpkin. They are so cute! I made these the last weekend we were at the lake. Paper Pumpkin kits are perfect for camping or holidays because everything you need to make the cards is in the kit!
I made the cards exactly as the instructions said but I only made one of each of them.

I also made an alternate with these cards. I made them into shaker cards. It was a pretty obvious to me idea to make these into shakers. I used the Flowers for Every Season Gems for the inside of my shaker card. These are retired but they were the only things I had to put inside them. I think they work pretty well.
I separated the cards apart and attached a piece of Window Sheet to the back of the card front. I then added some Foam Adhesive Strips around the opening. I peeled the backing off of the adhesive strips and then added my gems. I added the second layer of the card to the back of the Foam Adhesive Strips to seal in the gems. I matted these pieces onto a Basic White Thick card base. I also added a few of the sequins from the Paper Pumpkin kit to complete the card.
Here are the shaker cards.

I still have two each of the card bases to create some more cards. I'm not sure what I will do yet but I will definitely do something. These cards are so adorable!
The shaker card with the travel trailer on it will be going to friends of ours who bought their first travel trailer this summer. They are very excited! One weekend while we were at the lake, we discovered that they were camping in the area so they came over for a visit. They have big plans to take their trailer to many different camp spots this summer. I am sure they will have a great time.
The other two shaker cards will be going to my little people. They both love the outdoors and adventures so these will be perfect for them. Plus, they love getting cards in the mail!
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this little peek at a Paper Pumpkin and some ideas of what you can do if you don't want to make the cards as they were meant to be.
Stay well and keep creating!
Terry
