Hello my friends! I needed to make another baby card. My friend's daughter and her husband had a baby boy a couple of weeks ago. I was waiting to find out if there was going to be a get-together to meet the baby but they have decided not to have anything at this time. I figured I better get her card and presents to her before the baby outgrows what I have made him.
For the card, I used the All For Baby Bundle. It is such a cute stamp set and there are SO many dies with the set.
I started by stamping the clothesline across the top of a piece of Basic White cardstock using Basic Gray ink. I used Crumb Cake ink to stamp the clothespins. Above the clothesline, I stamped the sentiment using Basic Gray ink.
On another piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the onesie image three times using Pool Party, So Saffron and Balmy Blue ink. I used the coordinating die to cut these out. I added the onesies to the card using dimensionals. It looks like they are hanging from the clothesline.
I matted my stamped piece on a piece of Pool Party cardstock and then added that to a card base of Balmy Blue.
This is a more simple card than I usually make but I am thrilled with how it turned out. I am sure that my friend's daughter will love it as well.
What I used for today's card:
Balmy Blue Classic Stampin' Pad
Pool Party Classic Stampin' Pad
So Saffron Classic Stampin' Pad
Basic Gray Classic Stampin' Pad
Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I am really excited for the new baby. It is wonderful that they had a baby boy this time as they also have a little girl who turned 2 in May. She is absolutely thrilled with her baby brother. I hope they like the card and the gifts that I made for him.
Here is a picture of the sweater and blanket that I knitted for the baby.
Stay well and keep creating!
Terry
