Hello friends! I have another card for you from our Crafting at the Lake Event today. This one was created by me based on a beautiful card that I received from a fellow demonstrator that I became friends with through Team Canada. I was part of the Team Canada group this past fall/winter and it was a great experience. Jan sent me a card in this style just because she is a beautiful person. I recreated her card in my own style and sent it off to her but also used it for one of my event cards.
I used the Honeybee Home Bundle and coordinating DSP for this card.
I started with a card base of Pale Papaya that I folded into a Z Fold. On the front panel, I added some DSP from the Heart & Home DSP pack that I matted with some Basic Gray cardstock.
On the inside of the card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock that I matted with a piece of Basic Gray cardstock. To the right side, I added a strip of the same DSP that I used on the front panel.
On a smaller rectangle of Basic White cardstock, I stamped my sentiment and two of the bees from the stamp set using Basic Gray ink. I stamped the third bee image on the inside of my card using Basic Gray ink as well. I coloured all of the bees using Pale Papaya Stampin' Blends. I matted this with a piece of Cinnamon Cider cardstock and then a piece of Basic Gray cardstock. I attached this to the front panel along the left edge only.
To complete the card, I added some Basic Gray dots from the Classic Matte Dots package.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card.
Stay well and keep creating!
Terry
