Hello friends! I needed to share this birthday card that I created using the Artfully Layered Bundle again. Plus it gives me the perfect reason to use all of the beautiful greens that we have. I think I am needing to see green grass and leaves so I am craving greens. I really love this stamp set and dies bundle! I am really sad that it is not going to carry over to the new catalogue.
I started with a piece of Basic White cardstock. On this I stamped the words image from the bundle using Sahara Sand ink. I have no idea what the words say on this stamp set. I think it is just to be used as a background stamp. I stamped it in the top right corner and the bottom left corner of my card. I then stamped the fern image twice using Soft Succulent ink. I stamped one higher up and the second one just below the words image. On top of these ferns, I stamped the large open leaf using Evening Evergreen ink.
Once my stamped images were completely dry, I embossed the card front using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Unfortunately, this folder is retiring as well. I am very sad about this. As you are probably aware, it is one of my most used embossing folders. I matted this with a piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock and then attached it to a Soft Succulent card base.
On a strip of Evening Evergreen cardstock, I used the border edge die from the bundle to give a zig-zag edge to my strip of cardstock. It also gives a beautiful stitched line above the zig-zag. I stamped my sentiment using Versamark ink. I added White Embossing Powder from the Basics Set and heated it to melt using my Heat Tool. I tied a piece of white baker's twine around the left edge of this strip and tied it into a bow. The baker's twine is from the Baker's Twine Essential Pack. I attached my sentiment strip directly to my card usisng Tombo multipurpose glue.
To complete my card, I added a few pieces of Faux Sea Glass Shapes. I think these are beautiful and they look exactly like real sea glass.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card. I also hope the birthday girl likes it!
Stay well and keep creating!
Terry
