Hello friends! What a couple spectacular days we have had. Today is a little cooler but it's all good as I had some inside things to do. I find it's harder to get things done inside when it's beautiful outside. I was able to meet up with a friend to go for a walk around the pond yesterday. I haven't been doing much walking this Spring because of my toe but it is better than it was so I was excited to get out again. We saw so many birds, turtles and flowers it makes the heart happy. I will share some pictures at the end of this post.
Today's card is another card that I created for the Crafting at the Lake Event. I used the Cup of Tea Bundle.
I started with a card base of Basic White Thick cardstock. On top of that I added a piece of Sweet Sorbet cardstock that I embossed using the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder. On top of the cardstock, I added a strip of DSP from the Tea Boutique DSP pack.
I used the new Stylish Shapes Dies to cut out a stitched circle. On the back of the circle, I added some Sweet Sorbet Metallic Woven Ribbon in a small flourish. I then added the stitched circle to my card front using dimensionals.
I cut out the solid tea cup image from a piece of Sweet Sorbet cardstock. I also cut out the detailed tea cup image from a piece of Basic White cardstock that had an adhesive sheet attached to it. I added the detailed image to the solid image and added the completed tea cup to the stitched circle using dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. I used a banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set and cut out the sentiment. I then added it to my card front using dimensionals.
