Hello friends! Wow, what a beautiful weekend we had and then Monday came and things really took a turn. You have to be thankful for a gorgeous weekend though. I spent Saturday looking after my granddaughter. We went for a walk before it got too hot. I am on an antibiotic (for my toe) that makes me very sensitive to the sun. I had a 50 SPF sunscreen on but I clearly missed a couple spots on my hands because my knuckles got burned pretty bad. I think holding on to the handle of the stroller was the cause. The cooler, rainy weather today is perfect for me right now. Plus, it's great crafting weather!
Today's card is another one of Susanne's creations for the Crafting at the Lake Event. She used the Forever Fern stamp set.
This is a tryptic card which is a card that shows a series of three images, either the same or different. In this case, the images were different but very similar.
I started with a card base of Pool Party cardstock. On top of that, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock.
Using another piece of Basic White cardstock, I cut out three of the larger size and one of the smaller size of Stitched Rectangle Dies. On the larger pieces, I stamped the three different leaf images. I stamped one in Granny Apple Green ink, one in Garden Green ink and one in Soft Succulent ink.
I attached the three images evenly across the white cardstock on the card front using dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the same set using Garden Green ink and attached that across the center of the card using dimensionals.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Stay well and keep creating!
Terry
