Cottage Rose Bundle

Hello friends! I hope everyone had a great long weekend and a Happy Canada Day. And to my American friends, Happy Fourth of July!

Today's card is my final Make and Take from our Crafting at the Lake Event. I used the Cottage Rose Bundle.

I started with a card base of Sweet Sorbet. I used the smaller, triple flower stamp and stamped all around the front of the card base using Sweet Sorbet ink.

I used the Scalloped Contours Dies to cut out a scalloped rectangle from a piece of Basic White cardstock. I stamped my sentiment in the upper right corner using Black Staz On ink. I added this piece to my card base using dimensionals.

I stamped the larger flower image on a piece of vellum using Black Staz On ink. I also stamped the medium flower, twice using the same ink on another piece of vellum. After the ink dried, I coloured the flowers and leaves on the back of the vellum using Stampin' Blends. I used Sweet Sorbet to colour the flowers and Parakeet Party to colour the leaves.

I added an Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the center of each flower. I added a Glue Dot to the back of each flower exactly behind the rhinestone so it would be hidden. I attached the flowers to the scalloped rectangle using the glue dots.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card. This techniqiue is called "Stained Glass" and is a favourite of mine.

Stay well and keep creating!

Terry
