Hi friends! Happy Halloween! We are going to be going up to spend the evening with our granddaughter. This will be her first Halloween so we can't miss it. I will share pictures of her in the next post. She is going to be so cute!
So on to today's card. This is the sixth card in the Crafting at the Lakehouse Series. It is another one I designed.
I started with a piece of Basic White cardstock that I cut out using the Deckled Rectangle dies. I used a Blending Brush and added Pool Party ink around the outer edges of the rectangle. I then stamped the tree image four times in the center of the rectangle. I matted this piece with a piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock that I cut out using the next larger size of Deckled Rectangle dies. I added these to a card base of Basic White Thick cardstock.
On another piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the barn image using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and the wreath image using Shaded Spruce ink. I stamped the sentiment on another piece of Basic White cardstock using Early Espresso ink. I used the corresponding dies to cut out these stamped images. I coloured the barn using Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends and the Natural Tones 200 Stampin' Blends. I coloured the bow on the wreath using Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends. I used a Pool Party Stampin' Blends to outline the barn and the lines on the snow.
I added the barn and sentiment to the card front using dimensionals. I attached the wreath to the barn using adhesive. I used the die from the bundle to cut out the sign from a small piece of Early Espresso cardstock. I attached this to my card front using adhesive.
That completes this card. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed this one.
Stay well and keep creating!
