Something Fancy Bundle

Hello friends! I am starting to share the cards from the Crafting at the Lake Event. These are really great cards in my opinion. My friend Susanne and I each designed 7 cards for a total of 14 cards that I will be sharing over the next few weeks. If anyone is interested in purchasing the PDF's for these cards, we will be offering them for sale for $10 Canadian funds. Let me know if this is something you would be interested in.

The first card in the series is one of my designs. This was the Take and Make card that the attendees could have made at home. They received the stamp set and ribbon in their swag bags and the remaining consumables were provided to them in their bags as well.

I started with a piece of DSP from the Dainty Delight DSP pack. This DSP is a Sale-a-bration item that is available for free with a $60 order. It is absolutely gorgeous paper! The DSP was originally cut to 3 5/8 by 4 1/2 inches. I then cut the DSP into three strips that measured 1 1/2 by 3 5/8 inches. I matted these strips of DSP onto Basic Gray cardstock. Keeping the pieces in order, I added them to a piece of Pool Party cardstock using dimensionals. I wrapped a piece of Pool Party Grosgrain ribbon around the bottom portion of this and secured it at the back using tape. I then used another piece of ribbon and tied a faux knot. I then attached all of this to my card base. The card base was the Basic Gray card base from the Good Things Cards & Envelopes package.

On a small piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped my sentiment using Basic Gray ink. I then used the coordinating die from the Something Fancy Bundle to cut out the sentiment. I added this to the card front using dimensionals.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card.

Stay well and keep creating!

Terry
