Beautifully Happy

Hello friends! Dare I say that Spring has arrived. It has been so beautiful the past few days. It is definitely cold in the early mornings but by afternoon it is gorgeous! We are spending many afternoons at the park. There will be a couple pictures at the end of this post. I am also sharing a pre-bath picture for your enjoyment.

Today's card is number 12 in the Crafting at the Lake series. This was my final design and I used the Beautifully Happy stamp set which was a free Sale-a-bration item.

I started by stamping the large flower image onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I stamped the two different leaf images onto the flower image using Pear Pizzazz ink. I stamped the flower images using Fresh Freesia ink and stamped the flower centers using Daffodil Delight ink.

I then used a die from the Deckled Rectangle Die set to cut out the image. Using the next size up Deckled Rectangle Die I cut out a rectangle from a piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock. I adhered the white rectangle to the Pear Pizzazz rectangle and then added this to a card base of Fresh Freesia using dimensionals.

On a small strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped my sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I cut a banner cut into both edges. I added a swoosh of Fresh Freesia open weave ribbon to the back of my sentiment piece and then added it to my card front using dimensionals.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card.

Stay well and keep creating!

Terry

Here are some playground pictures of my angel. They were obviously from different days and different playgrounds. The final picture is from Saturday night. I got to play with her while Mom and Dad went to a hockey game. She wanted a Girl Guide cookie after dinner. Guess which flavour she chose... Then it was bath time and brushing her tooth and then bed.
