Greatest Journey Bundle

Hello friends! What a gorgeous weekend we had. And as of today, Spring is officially here. Yaay!! I am so excited to be getting my little angel outside playing in this beautiful weather.

Today's card is number 10 in the Crafting at the Lake series. It is one of my designs and I used the Greatest Journey Bundle. This was another fun card to create.

I started with a piece of Basic White cardstock. I used a Blending Brush to add Crushed Curry ink to the top three quarters of the cardstock. I then added the moon image that I cut out from a piece of Masking Paper using the die from the bundle. I placed the moon in the upper left corner of the cardstock. I then used Blending Brushes to add more ink colours. I added Pumpkin Pie, then Blackberry Bliss and finally Night of Navy ink.

I squished some ink into the lid of the White Craft ink pad and added a drop of water from a Water Painter. I picked up this diluted ink with the brush of the Water Painter and flicked dots of the white ink onto the ink to create stars. Once the stars were dry, I removed the masking paper from the moon.

I used the edge die to cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock to look like a mountain. I used another die to cut out the hiker. I stamped the trees image on the left side of the card front using Evening Evergreen ink. I placed them so they would be peeking out from the mountain. I then attached the Basic Black mountain piece to the bottom of the stamped cardstock.

I added a very tiny piece of So Saffron cardstock to the back of the lantern the hiker is holding so it would look as if it was lighted. I then attached the hiker to the top of the mountain on the right side of the card front.

I matted this onto a piece of Basic White cardstock and then attached it to a card base of Coastal Cabana cardstock.

On a strip of Basic White cardstock, I cut a banner cut into the right edge and then stamped my sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I biased the sentiment to the right edge. I then wrapped a piece of Coastal Cabana twine around the left edge of the sentiment and tied it into a knot. The twine is from the Three Twine Combo Pack. I added my sentiment to the card front using dimensionals.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card.

Stay well and keep creating!

Terry
