Forever Blossoms Card

Thank you for visiting my very first blog post. This has been and will continue to be a huge learning curve for me. I have had to learn all kinds of new things that I had no idea even existed and I just wanted to start a blog to share my pretty cards!

First I want to thank my upline and friend, Amy Jasper for getting this started. I also want to send a HUGE thanks to my friend Susanne Netz for seeing me through this. She has been so helpful and understanding with me. I am not very good with computers so this has been like learning a whole new language. Her patience with me is so appreciated!! Thanks so much Su, this would not have happened without you!

Here is my first card that I am going to share:

I received the Forever Blossoms stamp at On Stage Las Vegas and loved it right away. I initially made this card for a friend and fellow demonstrator who lost her father around Christmas time. I wanted her to know that I was thinking about her and her family. I thought this would be a good card to do with my stamp group so I started to remake it and spent about an hour looking for the corresponding Cherry Blossom dies. As it turned out, I hadn't even ordered them. That is why I had to fussy cut the blossom image for this card. I don't really enjoy fussy cutting and the ladies in my stamp group REALLY don't enjoy it so I ordered the dies to use in my class.

These are the items that I used to create this card:

Forever Blossoms Stamp Set

Woven Heirlooms Stamp Set

Stitched So Sweetly Dies

Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder

Petal Pink Metal Edge Ribbon

Petal Pink Blends

Old Olive Blends

Thanks again for stopping by my blog. I hope you enjoy this card and if there is anything I can help you with please contact me.

Stay healthy and keep creating!!
Terry
