Hello my friends. You are probably surprised to receive another blog post notification from me. Well, I have been having so much fun doing this that I have added on another day! I hope you are as excited as I am!
Today's card features a brand new product that will be available to order today, November 3rd. It will be available in the new January to June mini catalogue but is available as a pre-order now. As a demonstrator, I was able to order it early. It is so much fun!
For this card, I first stamped the curved Christmas trees using Mossy Meadow ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock. I then stamped the sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I used one of the curved dies in the bundle to cut the curvy edge on a piece of DSP from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper pack. I attached this to the piece of cardstock that I had stamped on. I then attached this entire piece to a mat of a Copper Foil Sheet. Fortunately I was able to punch out some images that I will be using for my upcoming Stamper's Dozen class. I like to cut out something from the center of a large piece of a foil sheet if I am just going to cover it all up anyway. I highly recommend doing that if you can when using your higher priced sheets. It is much more cost effective that way.
I wrapped this part of the card with a piece of Whisper White crinkled seam binding ribbon that I coloured using my Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends. I didn't have any Mossy Meadow ribbon so this was the next best thing. I love using my Stampin' Blends to colour ribbon because it dries REALLY fast and it is the true colour to match the coordinating cardstock and DSP.
I attached this card front to a Mossy Meadow card base using dimensionals. I really like Mossy Meadow as a green. It is a very rich, Christmasy green. I will definitely not be giving it to my one friend though as she really does not like Mossy Meadow. If you are reading this Su, don't worry, this card is not for you.
