Handsomely Suited Thankyou

Hello my friends! I hope you are all keeping well. I received a surprise FedEx package the other day so I needed to make a Thank You card. I make lots of Thank You cards every month because I put one in with every customer order. Those are easy because they are for women. This card is a male themed card which I always find more challenging.

I decided to start with the Handsomely Suited stamp set and the coordinating Well Suited DSP. The stamp set had two stamps that were perfect for the card I wanted to make.

I started with a Pacific Point card base. On top of this I added a piece of Basic White cardstock. On top of the white, I added a piece of Basic Black cardstock and on top of that I added my piece of DSP.

On another piece of Basic White cardstock, I repeatedly stamped the polka dot bow tie image using Pacific Point ink. I stamped off once so it would not be too dark. On top of that, I stamped my sentiments using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I then used one of the dies from Hippo & Friends die set to cut out this piece. I also cut out the next larger size from a piece of Basic Black cardstock. I matted the sentiment piece using this piece.

Since I have a hard time making a card without putting ribbon on it I decided to add some baker's twine. I made a small nest using the Basic Gray baker's twine from the Well Suited Twine combo pack. I attached this nest to the back of my sentiment piece using tape. I then added my sentiment piece to my card front using dimensionals.

What I used for today's card:

Handsomely Suited Stamp

Hippo & Friends Dies

Pacific Point Cardstock

Basic White Cardstock

Basic Black Cardstock

Well Suited Designer Series Paper

Pacific Point Classic Stampin' Pad

Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad

Well Suited Twine Combo Pack

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card. It is a little more on the simpler side than my usual style but I think it is great for a male card. I didn't want to add ribbons or rhinestones so this works. I think the recipient will be happy as I'm sure he will not be expecting it.

Stay well and keep creating!

Terry
