Nature's Harvest

Hello my friends! How is your first week of back to school/work? I love this time of year as it feels like a new start. I'm not sure what the new start is for me as I am not heading back to anything. Our weather has been absolutely gorgeous this week. It must be difficult for those that are heading back to school with the weather still feeling like summer.

Today's card was created using the Nature's Harvest stamp set and matching dies. I wanted to make a fall themed card and this one just came together for me.

I started by embossing a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock using the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder. I added two different pieces of DSP from the Harvest Meadow DSP on top of my embossed cardstock. Then I added some linen thread. I wrapped it around this cardstock three times and tied it into a bow.

I added this to a piece of Soft Suede cardstock using dimensionals and then added the Soft Suede cardstock to a Basic White Thick card base.

I stamped the larger flower image onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I then used the corresponding die from the Harvest Dies set to cut out the flowers. I used my Stampin' Blends to colour in the flowers. I used Mossy Meadow for the leaves and stems and used Soft Suede and Daffodil Delight for the flowers. I added the flower image to the card front using dimensionals.

I stamped my sentiment from the Many Messages stamp using Soft Suede ink on Basic White cardstock. I used the smaller label die from the Harvest Dies set to cut out my sentiment and added it to my card front using dimensionals. That completes this card.
