Hello my friends! We got some more good news last weekend. Not only did we have a couple of birthdays to celebrate, our daughter also got some great news. Even though she is going to be leaving her job to go on maternity leave at the end of December, her boss has asked her to be the general manager of their company.. He is so pleased with her job as assistant manager he wants to make sure she comes back after her leave. We are very proud of her!!
I received a new bundle on Friday that is a presale item from the upcoming January to June catalogue. As a demonstrator, I was able to purchase it until November 1st. Customers can also purchase it early, between November 2nd and January 3rd. It is a gorgeous set!
I started with a card base of Basic White Thick. On top of that, I added a piece of Soft Succulent cardstock. On top of that, I added a strip of the new Ever Eden Specialty DSP that I matted with a piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock.
I used the label die from the Eden Dies set to cut out my piece for my sentiment from Basic White cardstock. I stamped my sentiment from the One Happy Family stamp set using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I added the sentiment strip to my card front using dimensionals. Before I added the sentiment piece, I added a piece of gold trim from the Simply Elegant Trim pack that I wrapped into a small nest and stuck it on the back of the sentiment piece.
I added some sprigs of leaves that I cut out using the die from the bundle. I cut the sprigs out using Gold Foil, Vellum and the new Ever Eden Cotton Paper. This paper is available in two colours in the same package - Evening Evergreen (which is the one I used) and Soft Succulent. It feels like tissue paper but is thicker and stronger than tissue paper. I tucked the sprigs into the upper left and lower right corners of the sentiment strip.
What I used for today's card:

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card. I'm pretty sure our daughter will love it. I will be popping it into the mail tomorrow. I could just give it to her in person but I think it is more fun to receive happy mail. So incredibly proud of that girl!
Check out the Eden's Garden collection. It is beautiful!!
Stay well and keep creating!
