Evergreen Elegance

Hello my friends! I have one more card to share with you from our Crafting at the Lake Event. Each attendee received the Evergreen Elegance Bundle in their swag bag so Susanne and I created a card each using this set. They also received the PDF print out in case they didn't get that card finished during the event. Here is the card I created...

I made another Double Z Fold card. I started with card bases of Evening Evergreen for both of my Z pieces. On my larger Z base, I added some Cherry Cobbler cardstock that I embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing folder.

On my smaller Z base, I added some Basic White cardstock. I left the inside piece blank to write on and on the outer one I did my stamping. I first stamped my sentiment using Cherry Cobbler ink. I then stamped the medium sized tree from the bundle using Evening Evergreen ink. I stamped off once and then stamped my first tree. I stamped the tree again before inking up my stamp so that the second tree was actually stamped off twice. I repeated this across the entire piece of white cardstock, altering the heights of the trees as well.

I used the Evergreen Border Punch (which is in the bundle) to punch a line of trees from the 2021-2023 In Colour Shimmer Vellum. I attached the row of trees to the bottom of the white cardstock with my stamped trees using adhesive. The adhesive does not show through on the shimmer vellum. I wrapped some Linen Thread around this piece a couple of times and then tied it into a knot. I attached this piece of cardstock to the front of my smaller Z base. I added my smaller Z base to the larger Z base and my card was complete.

What I used for today's card:

Evergreen Elegance Bundle

Evening Evergreen Cardstock

Cherry Cobbler Cardstock

Basic White Cardstock

2021-2023 In Colour Shimmer Vellum

Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin' Pad

Evening Evergreen Classic Stampin' Pad

Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder

Linen Thread

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card. I think it will make a lovely Christmas card.

Stay well and keep creating!

Terry
