Blessings of Home Birthday

Hello friends! Apparently I had to create another card using this stamp set. I really like this new stamp set from the January to June catalogue. I had a birthday card to make so this set was calling to me to be used.

I started by stamping the larger flower image onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I used the corresponding die from the Flowers of Home Dies set to cut it out. Then I used my Stampin' Blends to colour in the stamped image. I used Petal Pink and So Saffron to colour the flowers and Granny Apple Green to colour the leaves and stems.

I used a card base of Basic White Thick cardstock. On top of this I added a piece of woodgrain DSP from the Heart & Home DSP pack. I matted this on a piece of Basic Gray cardstock. I wrapped a piece of Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon around the right side of this and tied it into a bow. I added this piece to my card base using dimensionals. I then added the flower image to the DSP piece using dimensionals.

I stamped my sentiment from the Blessings of Home stamp using Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock. I used the Messages Dies to cut it out. I used dimensionals to add this to my card and that completed it.

What I used for today's card:

Blessings of Home Stamp

Flowers of Home Dies

Messages Dies

Basic White Thick Cardstock

Basic Gray Cardstock

Basic White Cardstock

Heart & Home DSP

Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad

Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends

Petal Pink Stampin' Blends

So Saffron Stampin' Blends

Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card. I also hope the birthday girl will enjoy it and that it arrives on time. Our mail has been so backed up the past couple of months. I mailed all of my Christmas cards the first week of December and they just arrived on Christmas Eve. Some arrived on New Year's Eve. That is a ridiculously long time.

Stay well and keep creating!

Terry
