Hi friends! I have one more Valentine's card to share with you. I just love this new hybrid folder. A hybrid folder is an embossing folder that die cuts an image while embossing it all at the same time! So cool!
I started with a piece of Basic White cardstock. I put it into the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Folder and added the large heart die. The dies come with the embossing folder as part of the bundle. I ran it through the Cut and Emboss machine and it revealed this beautifully embossed piece of cardstock with the heart cut out from the center. It also leaves a stitched heart cut in the center.
I added a piece of Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon to the embossed cardstock and tied it into a bow. I then attached this embossed piece to a card base of Petal Pink. I attached the center heart back in to the negative space it came out of using dimensionals.
I cut another smaller stitched heart from a piece of Petal Pink cardstock using the small heart die from the same die set. I attached this heart to the center heart using adhesive and a dimensional on the right side.
I stamped my sentiment from the Sweet Conversations Stamp set using Petal Pink ink on a strip of Basic White cardstock. I used the Banners Pick a Punch to flag the ends of the strip of cardstock. I matted the sentiment on to a piece of Petal Pink cardstock that I flagged the ends the same way. I then attached this piece to my card using dimensionals. To complete this card, I added a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
What I used for today's card:
Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder
Petal Pink Classic Stampin' Pad
Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon
Champagne Rhinestones Basic Jewels
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card. I really love these Hybrid Embossing Folders. I think it is awesome that it cuts and embosses all at the same time. I have given this card to my daughter and son-in-law for Valentine's Day. (I also made one for Peyton but I will share that in a later post.) I hope you have a Happy Valentine's Day!
Stay well and keep creating!
Terry
