Hi friends! Is it finally Spring? It sure feels like it. I am very hopeful that there will be no more snow. It has been so lovely here. Valentine's day is fast approaching so today's card is for my grandson, Everett. I made Paisley's card earlier when we did a challenge so I had to make one for Everett.
I kept his pretty simple because I feel like he is more interested in the presents and chocolates that are in the parcel. I started with a piece of DSP from the Sweet Talk package. I matted this on a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock. I added this to a Pool Party card base using dimensionals.
I stamped my sentiment from the Sweet Conversations Stamp set using Bermuda Bay ink on a scrap of Basic White cardstock. I cut this out using a die from the Messages Die set. I matted my sentiment on another piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock and added this to my card front using dimensionals.
I had to add some bling as well because I put some on Paisley's card and it would not be fair if I didn't put any on his card. I was very happy to see that the Blue Adhesive-backed Gems were still current. I added some of these to his card and it was complete.
As I said, this is a fairly simple card but you could change the DSP, cardstock and sentiment and it could be any style of card.
What I used for today's card:
Bermuda Bay Classic Stampin' Pad
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card. I'm sure Everett will like it but as I said, he will be more interested in the chocolates! There are always chocolates in a parcel from Nana and Papa so I know that's what he will be looking for.
Stay well and keep creating!
Terry
