Hello Ladybug #2

Hello friends! This is the final card from our Crafting at the Lake Event. This is the card that Susanne created using the Hello Ladybug Bundle that was given to everyone who attended the event. As I said in my last post, this bundle is going to carry over to the new annual catalogue. I am very happy to know that!

We started with a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock. We stamped the large leaf image randomly all over the entire piece of cardstock using Granny Apple Green ink. We matted this with a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock and attached it to a Basic White Thick card base.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, we added some Balmy Blue ink to the center of the cardstock using a Blending Brush. We then added some drops of water to the inked area by flicking a Water Painter Brush. Once it was dry, we attached this piece to the card front.

On another piece of Basic White cardstock, we stamped the ladybug image. We stamped the body using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and the wings using Real Red ink. We punched out the ladybug parts using the corresponding punch. We then attached the wings to the body using adhesive and attached the ladybug to the inked area of the card front using dimensionals.

On a small strip of Basic Black cardstock, we stamped the sentiment using Versamark ink. We added White Embossing Powder (from the Basics set) and heated it to melt using our heat tool. We added the sentiment strip to the card front using dimensionals.

To complete the card, we added a few Brushed Brass Butterflies. They are so adorable!

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card. I love it and I think I will make some more just like it.

Stay well and keep creating!

Terry
