Hello friends! What an amazing weekend we had in Kelowna again. I love this weather. On Friday my daughter and I took the little one to the pumpkin patch at Davison Orchard. It was her 9 month birthday! I can't believe it, time is going by too fast. She loved the goats and sheep. I will share a picture at the end of this post.
Today's card is the second in the Crafting at the Lakehouse series. It is one that I designed.
I used the Cottage Wreaths stamp and die set. I started by stamping the leafy wreath onto a square of Basic White cardstock using Garden Green ink. I then stamped the branchy wreath directly over top of the leafy wreath using Evening Evergreen ink. I used Real Red ink to stamp the berries image randomly on top of the wreath. I also used it to stamp the sentiment in the center of the wreath.
I used the die from the bundle to cut out the bow from a small piece of Real Red cardstock. I attached this to the lower portion of the wreath using adhesive. I matted this stamped piece onto a piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock.
The card base is Evening Evergreen cardstock. The front of the card is only half a panel. I added a strip of DSP to this front panel. The DSP is from the Painted Christmas pack. I added the wreath piece to the front panel using adhesive. That completes this card.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed this card. This is a really versatile stamp set as it is good for all seasons.
Stay well and keep creating!
Terry
