Today's card is a thank you card for another amazing person at SLR. I'm not exactly sure what her position is but there were a few times during my session where I mentioned something in passing and this amazing gal had things fixed immediately. That is the kind of people you want in a volunteer based program.
I wanted to use the Go To Greetings stamp set for this card. I just recently got this stamp set and I don't know why I waited so long to get it. It is absolutely beautiful. It has four different sayings - Thank You, Happy Birthday, Thinking of You and Just a note in three different fonts. There is also a bonus stamp in the smaller font that says Hello. This is the font I chose for my card.
I started with a Basic White Thick card base. On top of that I added a piece of Polished Pink cardstock and on top of that I added a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock that I embossed using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. On top of the embossed cardstock, I added a strip of DSP from the Fitting Florets DSP pack.
On another small piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped my sentiment using Black Staz On ink. I punched this out using the smaller oval on the Double Oval Punch. I matted this onto a larger scalloped oval that I punched out of a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock.
Before adding my sentiment piece to the card front, I added a swoosh of Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon to the back of my sentiment. I then added it to the card using dimensionals. That completes my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed this card.
Stay well and keep creating!
