Leaves of Holly

Hello friends! I have just a couple more Christmas cards to share with you and then it's on to new stuff from the new mini catalogue. If you want a copy of the catalogue let me know and I will make sure you get one.

For today's card I used the Leaves of Holly Bundle. I started with a piece of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the larger holly leaf randomly all over the cardstock using Soft Succulent ink that I stamped off twice. I wanted the leaves to be pretty light. Then I added some splatter dots using my Crumb Cake Dark Stampin' Blend marker. I flicked the paint brush end against the inside edge of the lid to get the splatter look. I added this piece to a card base of Evening Evergreen.

On another piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the same holly leaf twice using Evening Evergreen ink. I then cut these out using the corresponding die from the bundle. I added these leaves to my card front using adhesive.

On another small piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the holly berries using Real Red ink. This  stamp is a two step stamp. I stamped the solid image first after stamping off once then I added the second part stamped full strength. I cut these out using the corresponding die. I also stamped the sentiment using Real Red ink on a strip of Basic White cardstock. The sentiment I used is from the Mistletoe Magic stamp set.

I added my sentiment piece over top of the holly leaves using dimensionals. On top of the sentiment piece I added a piece of Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon that I folded into a faux bow. I added the holly berries on top of the faux bow using a dimensional.

To complete my card, I added two pieces of pine bough that I cut out from some Crumb Cake cardstock. I added these under the sentiment piece in the top left corner using adhesive.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card.

Stay well and keep creating!

Terry
