Seaside Bay Bundle

Hello friends! What a week this has been. It's been so cold and then snowed again! I was hoping we were done with winter. Apparently we may have a few more days of this. Let's hope this is it!

Today is card number 4 in the Crafting at the Lake series. This card was designed by me and uses the Seaside Bay Bundle. There is a lot of die cutting for this card but I think it is totally worth it because this card is so cute.

I started by stamping the dots image randomly all over a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock. I used the edge die from the bundle to cut the top edge off of the piece of Sahara Sand cardstock. I added a piece of DSP from the By the Bay DSP pack to the top of a piece of Basic White cardstock. I added my stamped piece of Sahara Sand cardstock to the bottom of this piece of Basic White cardstock. I matted this with a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock and attached it to a card base of Basic White Thick cardstock.

On another piece of Basic White cardstock I stamped the following images from the Seaside Bay Bundle: I stamped the snail shell in Pool Party ink, the large conch shell in Sahara Sand ink, the triple seagulls image in Basic Gray ink. I used the corresponding dies to cut out these images. I stamped my sentiment using Basic Gray ink and punched it out using the Double Oval Punch.

I used the dies from the bundle to cut out the following images: the scallop shells from some Pearlescent Paper, the seaweed dies from Mint Macaron cardstock, the double oyster die from Sahara Sand cardstock. I used a Blending Brush to add Sahara Sand ink to the outer edges of the oyster shell.

I added these images to my card front using adhesive. I added my sentiment using dimensionals. To complete the card, I added some Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls to my card. I added a large pearl to the inside of the oyster.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card. I had a lot of fun designing this one.

Stay well and keep creating!

Watercolor World

 Hello friends!

Today's card is number three in the Crafting at the Lake series. It uses the Watercolor World background stamp and was designed by Susanne.

The stamp was attached to one of the plates of the Stamparatus. I placed a piece of Basic White cardstock in the other side of the Stamparatus. Using sponge daubers, I added different inks to the stamp. After adding each color of ink, I stamped the image onto the cardstock. Using the Stamparatus ensured that the image would be stamped repeatedly and would be in the exact same spot every time. The colors of ink I used were Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron, Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green and Evening Evergreen.

The stamped world image piece was added to a card base of Garden Green.

I stamped my sentiment using Early Espresso ink on a piece of DSP from the Day at the Farm DSP pack. The sentiment is from the Something Fancy stamp set. I matted this with a piece of Early Espresso cardstock and added it to the center of my card using dimensionals. That completes today's card.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed this card.

Stay well and keep creating!

Petal Park Bundle

Hello friends! I hope you are having a great long weekend. I had a pizza date with my little angel on Saturday night. I think she wore more of the pizza than went in her belly. Picture of this at the end of this post.

This is the second card in the Crafting at the Lake series and this is one of my designs. I used the Petal Park Bundle for this card.

I started by stamping the outline stamp of the leaves image using Granny Apple Green ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock. I used the filling in image to stamp the inside of the leaves using Granny Apple Green ink stamped off once. I may have shared this tip previously but it is a good one so I will repeat it. After you stamp your outline stamp, lay your filling in stamp over top of the stamped image and move it around so it lines up perfectly. Use your acrylic block to pick up the stamp. The images will line up beautifully.

I then stamped the outline stamp of the small flowers image using Fresh Freesia ink. I stamped this image twice and then stamped the filling in image using Fresh Freesia ink stamped off once. I matted this cardstock on a piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock.

On another piece of Basic White cardstock I stamped the outline image of the larger flower image using Balmy Blue ink. I stamped the filling in stamp using Balmy Blue ink stamped off once. I punched these flowers out using the coordinating punch in the bundle. I added these flowers to the stamped cardstock using dimensionals.

I used a card base of Basic White Thick cardstock. I added a layer of Granny Apple Green cardstock and on top of that I added a layer of Balmy Blue cardstock. I added the stamped and matted piece to the card front using dimensionals.

On another small strip of Basic White cardstock I stamped my sentiment using Balmy Blue ink. The sentiment is from the Something Fancy stamp set which everyone received in their swag bags. I matted this on a piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock and added this to the card front using dimensionals.

To complete my card, I added some Iridescent Pastel Gems to the center of the Balmy Blue flowers.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card.

Lighting the Way Bundle

Hello friends! Today I am continuing with the Crafting at the Lake series. Today's card was designed by Susanne using the Lighting the Way Bundle.

I started by adding Pear Pizzazz ink to the lower 1/4 of a piece of Basic White cardstock using a Blending Brush. I added Starry Sky ink to the upper 3/4 of the cardstock using another Blending Brush.

I used Pear Pizzazz ink to stamp the grass image along the bottom of the cardstock.

I added this cardstock to a mat of Gorgeous Grape cardstock and then adhered this to a card base of Starry Sky.

I used the die from the bundle to cut out the lantern from a piece of Metallic Specialty Paper. I cut the body of the firefly from a piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock, cut the bottom of the firefly from a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock and cut out the wings of the firefly from a piece of Vellum. I used adhesive to attach all of these pieces together to create my firefly.

I stamped the circle image from the stamp set using Daffodil Delight ink. I placed this image so that it would be in the center of the lantern. I then added the lantern using adhesive.

I stamped the firefly trail using Daffodil Delight ink on the previous piece of Basic White cardstock. I attached the firefly to the trail using dimensionals.

On a strip of Basic White cardstock I stamped my sentiment using Starry Sky ink. I cut a banner cut into both sides of the sentiment piece. I used a Blending Brush to add Pear Pizzazz ink to the bottom edge of the sentiment piece. I then added the sentiment piece to the bottom of the card front using dimensionals.

That completes the first card in the series. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Stay well and keep creating!
