Hello friends! Today was so gorgeous! I think we might be getting closer to Spring. Fingers crossed!
Today's card is number 6 in the Crafting at the Lake series. This card is one of my designs and I used the Framed Florets Bundle.
I started by embossing a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. I attached this to a card base of Basic White Thick cardstock. I attached a strip of DSP along the left side of the card front. The DSP is from the Fitting Florets DSP pack but unfortunately this DSP is now sold out. You could always substitute another DSP if you were to recreate this card.
On another piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped my sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I cut it out using the crimp edge oval from the bundle. I biased my sentiment to the right side. I used the same oval die to cut out the oval frame from a piece of Soft Succulent cardstock.
I stamped the floral spray image on a piece of Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I cut this out using the corresponding die from the bundle. I coloured the leaves using Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends and coloured the flower centers using Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.
I cut out a sprig from another piece of Basic White cardstock using the die from the bundle. I added the sprig to the card front on top of the piece of DSP. I then added a piece of Soft Succulent ribbon that I folded in half. I attached the ribbon using glue dots. I attached the sentiment oval using dimensionals and then attached the oval frame using dimensionals. To finish the card, I added the floral spray on the left side of the oval using dimensionals.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card.
Stay well and keep creating!
Terry
