Warm Welcome Stamp Set

Hello friends! So glad to be feeling better. I missed hanging out with my sweet little angel for a whole week. I made it up to her by taking her to the indoor playground on Wednesday. She had a great time! She even likes to go into the "big kid" area now. That little one has no fear at all. I am scared....

Today's card is number 5 in the Crafting at the Lake series. This one was designed by Susanne. It uses the Warm Welcome stamp set. It is a Side Step Fun Fold.

I started by folding the So Saffron card base. I added the long strip of DSP to the front lower panel. This DSP is from the Day at the Farm DSP pack. This was a Sale-a-bration item that is no longer available but if you wanted to make this card, you could easily substitute another DSP here. I then added DSP to the second and third step panels. This DSP is from the Country Gingham DSP pack and it is still available.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the door image using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I used the corresponding die to cut it out. I then coloured it using the 300, 400 and 500 Stampin' Blends markers. On another piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the cat and the shoes images using Tuxedo Black Memento ink again. I cut them out using their corresponding dies. I coloured them using Stampin' Blends. The colours I used are So Saffron, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party and Flirty Flamingo for the shoes and So Saffron and Flirty Flamingo for the cat.

I attached the door image to the large right panel. On the inside of the door, I attached another piece of DSP from the Day at the Farm pack. I attached the shoes to the front panel and the cat to the second step panel.

I stamped the sentiment on the negative cut out from the door. I used Tuxedo Black Memento ink to stamp this. I then attached the sentiment to the third step panel.

To complete the card, I added a Basic Pearl to the door to be the door knob. The pearl was coloured black using a Black Stampin' Blends.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed this card.

Stay well and keep creating!
